Cat Adoptions Page 1

In 2002, our on-site cat facility became a reality! The cathouse is divided into three separate, but free-roaming areas that is able to accommodate readily adoptable cats as well as those with special needs (including FIV and FeLeuk). Each room contains window boxes, natural wood scratching posts, comfy furniture condusive to cat naps, and lots and lots of toys!! It is an amazing sight to watch once feral cats playing—shy at first, then suddenly confident, or perhaps a cat who was rescued from deathrow now experiencing the ecstasy of catnip!

We welcome foster care for cats while looking for permanent homes for them. If you or anyone you know are interested in fostering, please contact cats@
homeatlastanimals. org
, or fill out the online foster application.

Lindy is a sweet grey and white kitten who was found abandoned in a parking lot. Her approximate birthdate is Mid-June 2005. She is more reserved than some kittens--perhaps because life on the streets forced her to grow up quickly. She enjoys being held and loves to observe everything going on around her. She is trusting of people and not afraid of other cats or dogs. She is a lovely girl looking for a loving home.
Sudie:Sudie was found abandoned, when her people moved and left her behind. She is a charcoal tabby with a plush coat and a full face. We estimate her birth date to be in 1997. Her maturity makes her a lovely companion-sweet and reserved, but very loving.

Owen is a beautiful gray cat who came to us when the local shelter was full. He is under four years old,
but seems to have a regal presence. He is a very cool, laid back guy who  seems to enjoy observing others. He's a gentle cat that gets along with others and enjoys visitors.

Embers. "I'm yours!!" is what this sweet girl seems to be saying! Embers is a captivating catl who was rescued in Scott Co from a building that had burned down. She is young (about 2 1/2 years) and full of personality. She gets along well with other cats, is playful, but also enjoys the mellow moments. She is happy, healthy, and ready for a place to call home!

Webster is a beautiful, brown tabby with the sweet face of a baby wildcat (approximate birth date Nov 2002). He came to us at only a few weeks old after being “rolled” by a car. He suffered no longterm injuries and has become an extremely sweet, outgoing, and playful boy. He adapts well to new situations and gets along great with everyone—cats, dogs, and people. You never know…he might just be your new best friend!
Summer is a beautiful calico who came to us from a neighboring shelter. Her approximate birthdate is early 2004. Summer is a sweet girl with a gentle personality. She gets along well with other cats and enjoys meeting new people.
Summer is one of our special needs cats because she has Feline Leukemia. She will need a home without other cats (unless they too are Feleuk positive). She is not on any medication, nor does she require any special care.

Loycie is a lovely orange and white tabby who came to us when a local shelter was full. She is a quiet girl who is friendly and independent. She is about 3 and has adjusted well to life at the sanctuary, but we think she has alot of love to give, and we'd like to see her with a loving family.
