Home At Last Animal Sanctuary
provides lifetime care for dogs, cats, pigs, cows, goats, and other
animals. The sanctuary also maintains a 180-acre wildlife refuge. Home At
Last emphasizes the concept of harmlessness and offers exceptional quality
of life for many formerly abused and abandoned animals. We are always
working on new programs and improvement of existing ones, but a partial
list includes:
- Animal rescue
- Life-long care
- Domestic animal re-homing
- Educational outreach
- Feral trap, spay/neuter & release
- Low-income spay/neuter assistance
- Wildlife refuge
- Animal rescue alliance (fostering
communication between rescue groups)
- Special needs cat placement
coordination
- Domestic violence foster for displaced
animals
- "Retirement" program for older dogs
and cats
- Information and referral/counseling to
the public
- Other community outreach projects
(such as working with children & the elderly)
**What we are able to do at any given
time is dependent upon available resources.
