Braveheart: Lord of the Dogs

Braveheart had been king of Home At Last for over three years. Patience was indeed a virtue for this wonderful dog who had endured heartbreaking treatment before coming to Home At Last. He watched quietly as many of his buddies were adopted into loving homes. But in the happiest of ironies, Braveheart went home with Martha and now shares his throne with Elmo (now Clifford), his former best buddy at the sanctuary. Talk about wonderful symmetry! Today, everyone’s favorite, Braveheart (now called Shiloh), pads around happily in retirement on his own rolling bluegrass estate. The patience, kindness, and spirit that made him one of our all-time favorites really paid off for Braveheart. Great things do happen for those who wait.
