Jed's Story
Jed is a beautiful chow mix who came to HAL after he was found wandering the streets. He is the "James Dean" of the sanctuary--just exuding cool! He has a magnificent, lion-like coat (which needs to be shaved in the summer) which gives him the appearance of a king. He has lived with several different yard mates and has gotten along well with all different kinds of personalities. He is NOT a fighter, but he demands respect. He also loves to give kisses...when no ones else is looking of course!!

Memorial Story
Jed was the quiet leader at the sanctuary. He lived a good life with us at the farm and was friend to many. He lost his fight to cancer in July 2011, but his memory lives on.
